Relaxing Days in San Miguel!

Every now and then in ministry you need to take a relaxing day off. A few weeks ago Scott and I decided to go to the el Charco del Ingenio Jardin Botanico. It is a 220 acre canyon filled with plants and wildlife. They have trails and photo spots, a gift shop and a restaurant. It is a beautiful, relaxing place filled with God's presence! We enjoyed about four hours walking around the trails. We saw something on the trail that looked like a panther. Scott said it was a house cat, but it was much, much bigger. Later we found out that it probably was a panther because they are native to these parts. Most of the time they are harmless! I didn't want to stick around to find out. Here are a fer pictures from our relaxing day.

We enjoyed the day so much that we plan to go back sometime.
