Antioch Wednesday Night Bible Study

Every Wednesday we gather in our home and have bible study. We are going through the bible with R.C. Sproul. We just finished up The Old Testament and are getting ready to start The New Testament. Every second Wednesday of the month we have a potluck. Last night we had soup, salad and bread night. We enjoy getting together with other believers and having fellowship in His name. We had a great night last night with one another. Here are some pictures of the evening.

Our bible study last night was on the book of Job. A lot of people don't really like the book. It has a lot of suffering in it that God allowed. One of the questions that came up last night was, "Why did God even entertain the devil" another question was, "Why didn't God just tell the devil to flee". It is interesting and we had a wonderful discussion about it. Someone mentioned that all of our sufferings are for the glory of God and it is a testimony for Him. It is so that He will be exalted. I believe this is true. God allows things into our lives for His glory. The next time that you are going through a tough time ask yourself, "How can I bring glory to God through all of this"?
