Thank you supporters!

Thank you Supporters!

Our last newsletter went out in June. Scott and I celebrated our first year anniversary of crossing the borders into Mexico. It has been a blessed year of ministry for the Lord. We have a wonderful church family...we are blessed! Below is the front of the newsletter that went out. If you are not receiving our newsletters and would like to, please email us at antiochsma@gmail.com and we will put you on our email list.

As I sit here this morning in our public library here in San Miguel, it is quiet, still and peaceful. My mind drifts and I begin to reminisce over the past twelve months. On June 3rd, Tammy and I celebrated our one year anniversary at Antioch. I reflect on the ways that God has been faithful to us and our ministry.. He has truly revealed Himself in such extraordinary ways. He tells us that if we trust Him and rely on Him, that He will direct our paths and supply our needs. At times, I*m overwhelmed at His love, grace and mercy toward us. We want to take this time and thank each of our supporters for believing in our ministry here. We would not have been able to stay without your financial gifts and prayers. THANK YOU! Here are just a few things from this year that God has blessed.*Connection * God lead a group from Washington to a couple in Ohio to a Church in San Miguel * Protection & Provisions - God providing financially for us to leave so quickly our lives in Ohio. God was watching over the miraculous border crossing into Mexico, with our belongings. Our second border crossing with our animals was uneventful. Our continued protection while serving the Lord Here in SMA. Continued financial support and prayers from all of you in the in the States and from some of our member at Antioch.*Legal & God*s faithfulness * Shortly after arriving in San Miguel we were informed that Antioch was not really a legal church and I was not really legal to preach the gospel here. One word comes to mind*scary! We began the process to become legal, and kept a fairly low profile. During this time it was impossible to do any outreach and yet we began to grow both physically and spiritually. Not to bore you with legal details, but as of May, we are a legal church and I*m a legal pastor here in Mexico. This is a process that takes years here, and God provided so quickly*we praise Him!*Ministry * Although we have not experienced many new salvations, we continue to grow spiritually as a group of believers. Our group is excited to meet with one another and to have a place where God is glorified and His word is taught. Our bible study has been an inspirational time and we are learning together through the bible. We had a fasting group that really bonded through prayer and fasting together. Our main focus is on the English speaking community, but we have had several opportunities to do outreach to the Mexican community. We continue to allow God to show us where He would like us to serve both the English and Mexican communities.I believe that because we responded in obedience concerning legal matters, God is going to open up opportunities and bless Antioch beyond our imagination. It is comforting to know we have such a wonderful congregation that wants to continue God*s work here in San Miguel. We thank God for such a wonderful family of believers. We thank you for your continued prayers and financial support that blessed our first year here. As we head into our second year, we ask that you continue in your partnership with us. Please pray for God to open up doors of opportunity for Antioch and for outreach to the community.. God is always working and He wants us to join Him where He wants us to be. Thank you again for believing in us. We love you all, and send our prayers your way. May God continue to open your eyes to His love and grace. Blessings to you and your family, Scott and Tammy
